With our EWS Varia quick-change system (modular system, often incorrectly designated as Vario), our company is setting new benchmarks in optimising tool setup times. The introduction of the atmospheric plasma machines in particular opened up the market for materials that are difficult to treat at high feed rates. 1991 - Another physical treatment principle, “flame treatment”, was introduced. 1985 - Arcotec GmbH was founded. Pretreatment systems 1976 - Development and deployment of the world’s first plasma machine with open jet electrodes (Arcojet®) for treating plastic moulded parts; this works with electric plasma. Pretreatment systems 1975 - Production of the pretreatment machines begins using high-frequency corona. Pretreatment systems 1974 - Fritz Bloss founded an independent commercial agency.
