517 ľudí bolo zranených alebo zahynulo počas nehôd na železničných priecestiach v celej Európskej únii v roku 2017. Preto sme vyvinuli Erriate - systém na báze umelej inteligencie, ktorý má pomôcť zvýšiť bezpečnosť na železničných priecestiach. Erriate neustále monitoruje priestor železničných priecestí a v prípade, že spozoruje riskantnú situáciu (napr. pokazené auto), vyšle signál blížiacim sa vlakom. Rušňovodič vďaka livestreamu z priecestia dokáže vyhodnotiť situáciu a spomaliť, prípadne úplne zastaviť vlak, vďaka čomu vie zabrániť nehode. V prípade nebezpečenstva systém dokáže upozorniť aj bezpečnostné zložky, ktoré tak dokážu prísť na miesto nehody včas a zachrániť tak účastníkov nehody, prípadne odstrániť prekážku z koľajiska a zabrániť tak meškaniam vlakov. Náš projekt bol ocenený postupom do finále medzinárodnej súťaže Chivas Ventures.
