The Riedinger balloon factory, founded by August Riedinger in 1897, produced the first gas balloons for the military. Ballonbau Wörner GmbH was formed in Augsburg in 1986 when the balloon factory was acquired from Leonhard Stuttgart. We specialise in the production of modern sport balloons, tethered (captive) balloons, airships and gas storage balloons for industrial use.
